At Sheffield you\u2019ll be taught by inspirational researchers and be able to see the work they do first hand.<\/p>\n<p>The University of Sheffield offers 350 different courses, across 75 different subject areas. The University also offers preparation programmes for international students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Type:\u00a0<\/strong>Masters<\/p>\n<p><strong>Value &amp; Duration of Award:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A full tuition fee waiver<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance for University accommodation and<\/li>\n<li>A \u00a38,000 monthly stipend<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligible Field of Study:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MA International Development<\/li>\n<li>MSc Environmental Change and International Development<\/li>\n<li>MPH International Development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligible Countries:<\/strong>\u00a0All African Countries<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong>\u00a0To be considered for this Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You must be classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes.<\/li>\n<li>You must be self-funded to receive this award, i.e. not funded by a research council, government, private enterprise, charity or any similar organisation.<\/li>\n<li>This scholarship cannot be awarded in conjunction with any other funding awards, either from the University of Sheffield or external sources.<\/li>\n<li>You must not already hold a qualification equal to or higher than a masters.<\/li>\n<li>You must not have already studied outside of your home country.<\/li>\n<li>Your mode of attendance must be full time.<\/li>\n<li>This scholarship cannot be awarded in conjunction with any other funding awards, either from the University of Sheffield or external sources.<\/li>\n<li>Receipt of the scholarship is subject to successfully meeting any condition(s) attached to your offer before the deadline provided by the Admissions Service.<\/li>\n<li>Receipt of the scholarship is subject to successfully receiving a visa to study at the University in September 2024.<\/li>\n<li>You must be a national of\u00a0or permanently domiciled in an African country.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Selection Criteria:\u00a0<\/strong>The panel will be looking to see in particular if you have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provided a clear rationale for applying for a postgraduate course at the University of Sheffield,<\/li>\n<li>Outlined challenges to academic progress and detailed how these barriers have been overcome successfully,<\/li>\n<li>Outlined examples of work experience in the field of International Development,<\/li>\n<li>Clearly articulated future ambitions; these goals relate to the postgraduate degree you have applied for, and how your learning will benefit others from your country.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The outcome of your
